CU Christmas Angels

Christmas is a time for sharing love and spreading cheer. We are excited to announce that the Teachers Credit Union will be helping families provide gifts for their children with the Christmas Angels project this year. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys in the lobby for families who need help providing gifts for Christmas. All the toys donated will be going to children in our local area. If you know of a family that would benefit from the Toys for Christmas project, please call Janice Hughes at 479-6392 to register by Dec. 15th.

Mailed Receipts Discontinued

Due to the increase in postage, we will no longer be mailing transaction receipts. We will be happy to continue to make your transactions by phone, night-drop, or mail. If you want a receipt, you can request that we hold it for you to pick up later, otherwise, we will shred it. You also have the option to make transactions yourself with the Virtual Branch Online services. If you are not already registered, you will need to fill out and sign the request form to access Virtual Branch. This form is available at the credit union, or you can download the form from this website to fill out and mail in.

Financial Counseling

The Cleveland/Bradley County Teachers FMary Johnsonederal Credit Union is now offering Financial Counseling as part of the members’ services benefits. Mary Johnson, who recently became a Certified Financial Counselor, will be scheduling appointments for members who would like to take advantage of this service.

Mary will help individuals or families set a customized budget to live by. She will explain various methods of paying down debt, how to get out of debt, and how to avoid bankruptcy. Not only will she share how to get out of debt, she will teach how to save, build a retirement fund, and plan for future financial needs to be met.

Born and raised in Polk County, Mary attended and graduated from Polk County High School. She attended the National School of Business and Cleveland State Community College. She also holds a Certification in Loan Management, and has been with the Teachers Credit Union for 16 years.
